17-09-09 Erg goed hotel aan de rand van Glasgow. Met de taxi ben je voor 4 pond in het centrum. Echt een aanrader voor een weekendje Glasgow.

25-06-09 i would highly recommend this hotel especially if your going to the secc ,as your literally situated at the bottom of the secc car park ,another plus was that there is a chinese restraunt situated at the bottom of the campanile car park and also an indian restraunt just round the corner ,as we were only there for one night we tried the indian quay it was perfect ,it also had a secure car park and after checking out we took a taxi to the shops which was only £5 which was well worth it easier than finding somewhere to park in glasgow ,the hotel itself is quite new and modern ,cant comment on the food there as we ate out ,the staff were very helpful and friendly ,the rooms were clean ,modern ,quite small but more than ample with the usual tea making facilities ,there was also pay tv

25-06-09 Booked this hotel when going to see a show at the SECC. Couldn't get much closer. Couldn't fault the room which was very clean and adequate for what we were looking for. Bathroom fine with a good shower (although bathroom door didn't lock). Hadn't booked breakfast but were able to pay for one in the morning. It was £6.95 but it was an all you can eat buffet (cereal, fruit, coldmeats, breads, croissonts, fruit juice, tea/coffee and a good selection of cooked foods). The only downside we found was it was a Sunday night and the bar closed at 10.30pm (11pm any other night). If you wanted a drink after this time the only way could have one is by leaving your credit card details with them and it was charged to the room - bar prices weren't very cheap either). Apart from this no complaints and will go again.

25-06-09 We were room only and when we tried to book an evening meal all tables had been reserved. Having said that we could have had a snack in the bar. It was close to the exhibition centre, just a short walk across the car park, which was ideal.
Rooms were OK but could have done with some upgrading re decor and soft furnishings eg carpet and chair seat was stained.
The hotel and outside area was quiet at night.
Staff were friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to use it again if I wished to stay overnight near to the SECC in Glasgow

28-08-09 Vanwege concerten in de SECC hadden we voor dit hotel gekozen. Bij aankomst bleek de locatie nog veel beter dan verwacht! Het hotel staat in de “achtertuin” van de SECC. Dus ‘n ++ wat dat betreft! Het ligt wel wat buiten het centrum, maar er is genoeg mogelijkheid om er met het openbaar vervoer te komen. En als je van lopen houdt, valt dat ook nog wel mee!

Check-in ging snel en zonder problemen, zelfs om 10 uur ‘s avonds. De kamer was erg klein, heel weinig ruimte voor je koffers etc. We sliepen met z’n drieën op ‘n kamer en naar ons idee hebben ze gewoon een extra bed bijgezet in een tweepersoonskamer. Maar alles was schoon en we kregen iedere dag schone handdoeken etc. De bedden waren ok, grotere kussens had geen kwaad gekund.

We hadden wel wat problemen met de keycard, konden de kamer niet meer in. De receptionist heeft een aantal keer de "deurcode" moeten resetten (3x tijdens een verblijf van 4 dagen), maar dit ging zonder problemen.

Over het algemeen een prima verblijf!

25-06-09 Hotel is right across from the SECC where we were exhibitors.

Very clean & modern. Good size rooms for the price.
Good WIFI coverage.

Buffet breakfast was good.

06-01-08 Dit hotel hadden we gekozen voor de perfecte ligging t.o.v. het SECC - de straat over en je bent er. En met de bus ben je in 10 minuten in de stad.
Het hotel was goed. Vriendelijk personeel.
Kamer was erg klein en er stond zelfs nog een bankje in. Koffie- en theezetfaciliteiten mét biscuitjes. De douche was heerlijk.
Het ontbijt was prima en uitgebreid; keuze uit Schots en continentaal ontbijt, met zelfs keus uit meerdere soorten kaas. Erg lekker als je niet zo'n vette hap als ontbijt wilt!
Tip: ga hier vooral dineren! Het eten was goed verzorgd en erg lekker. En niet al te duur. Geen wonder dus dat het op een doordeweekse dag stampvol zat.

25-06-09 Excellent location for SECC,complimentary passes for nearby new lesiure centre available.
Hotel give us a voucher for a indian resturant which entitled us to a free bottle of wine. Excellent!
Buffet Breakfast worth the extra.
Only negative was that the TV on STV /Sky had no sound.

25-06-09 very clean, tremendous value for money, well situated, staff helpfull, even got free use of next door leisure centre, AND given a voucher for a free bottle of wine ar the indian restaurant 200 yards away which i can also recommend
