Would definately recommend this hotel - standard of hotel was exceptional, friendly staff, great food & good sized rooms. Its ideally located just off the Royal Mile & only a short walk from the castle. Would definately go back & have already recommended it to family & friends

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the facilities and staff were excellent. The health club inc. swimming pool, sauna & steam room were extremely impressive and of the highest standard. My only criticism would be that the breakfasts they were disappointing for the quality of the hotel.

I found the hotel location excellent, it was in walking distance of the train station and all attractions. The hotel was comfortable and the staff friendly, i was disappointed with the en-suite, compared to the rest of the hotel i found it a little shabby. The overall standard of the hotel was very good, and clean at all times. I feel its worth to point out that there is no problem with the hotel keeping your bags after checkout, enabling you to enjoy an extra day. I would certainly stay again. Skoosh makes things very easy.

We had a fantastic stay at the Holyrood Hotel. It was very comfortable and quiet and within easy access to all of Edinburgh's attractions. We would certainly stay there again and recommend it to friends.

The leisure facilities/spa were also very good.
