I got why they call Florianopolis the 'magical island'. When I arrived at the city, by Floripa's somewhat poor airport, I was like 'wow' when I saw what was on the outside: a view to Floripa's first bridge, the downtown, and to the stunning bay that covers all the western part of the city. I located a car and get to my location on cities' southern half, on a beach called Campeche. There, along with the deserted water-angry Naufragados, the calm sea with a rich-busy sand Jurere International and the surf destination Santinho, the last two on the more populated and known northern half of Floripa's island, so, those four beaches are like a natural paradise.
Floripa's is a almost complete city on a natural paradise: great night and day clubs like P12 and a great pub called Donovan.
A great destination for couples, singles, families, surfers.
I also recommend the winter in Floripa, it's cooly cold. I came back four times after my first time and I wanted to stay longer and longer
